Letter #6 I have the most important role...

so... adios, provo! hola denver!

ahhh!! i'm gonna miss these crazies so much!! love them all!!!
wow. this week has been quite a whirlwind. as you may already know, after my travel plans changed twice in one week i found out my visa actually hasn't been processed yet. therefore... i got temporarily reassigned to the COLORADO DENVER SOUTH MISSION!! woohoo!! at first, i'm not gonna lie, i was definitely bummed. however, after a couple days to prayerfully think about this reassignment and an amazing blessing given by a sweet elder in my zone... i am content and excited with this new assignment! :) i know that i am on the Lord's time. the Lord's errand. and i am more than willing to go where he would want me to go!! :) i know this change has happened for a reason and for whatever reason colorado is where i'm suppose to be right now. and i can't wait to find out that reason! :)
on another note: this week's devotionals were phenomenal!! sunday was the annual christmas devotional where our wonderful prophet gave a few words, as well as Elder Russell M. Nelson!! ahh!! such wonderful men lead our church!! i just love it so much!! :)
then... tuesday devotional Elder Quentin L. Cook came and spoke to us.. which was so great as well!! can you believe i've had the amazing chance to hear from so many general authorities while i've been here!! dang. i'm seriously so blessed!! i love the mtc!! :)
SHAUN!!! i found the albanian elders again and i had my camera this time!!!
ha!!! such awkward elders. sooo funny though!!! miss and love you!!!!
anywho... Elder Cook's wife told the cutest story that seriously touched my heart... so much so that i actually bore my testimony about it in our zone testimony meeting... like who am i?? ha ha.
so the story... it was about a cute little girl in a school chirstmas play of the nativity! and she was so excited for her part, so her mother assummed she was one of the leading roles. when the night came of the play, the mother was quite to see her daughter sitting on a chair on the side of the stage. towards the end of the play, on her que, the most excited little girl jumped out of her chair and held up the star above the baby Jesus! on the drive home the mother was congratulating her daughter in such a great job in the play, and the honored daughter excitedly said, "i had the most important role, mom! i showed everyone where the baby Jesus was!"
last day with our teacher hermano hoskisson!! love him!! such a short little funny man!! sad day!!
now i dunno why, but this story really hit me. so when i stood up in that testimony meeting i felt so strongly about what i had to say, as i told every amazing missionary in my zone that this christmas is gonna be the most different type of christmas we have ever had in our lives... because WE HAVE THE MOST IMPORTANT ROLE!! ahh!!! we have the role of showing all we meet the light of christ!! ah!!! i just feel so blessed!!! i have the amazing oppo

rtunity to wear the Saviors name over my heart as i share his story, his gospel, and his light to everyone that i can!! ah!! && thats what the christmas spirit is all about right!? ah!! i dunno. i just seriously love being a missionary so much!! and i can't wait to get on that plane to denver early monday morning and start this amazing work in the real world!! ah!! i'm so stoked!!
i'm obviously so sad to leave my amazing companion, my amazing district, and my amazing zone and zone president!! but... i'm so excited all at the same time!!
Tracy Roberts was right: the mission brings an oxymoron of feelings!! ha ha. and i'm not even in the field yet... crayy cray!! ha ha. ah!!! i can't wait though!!! :)
anyways... i love you all so much!! && i'm so grateful for all your love and support!! like real talk. you have no idea how much it means to me!! i am seriously so blessed!! ah!!! I LOVE YOU!!!
hope your listening to lots of christmas music and drinking yummy hot chocolate && watching all the christmas movies you can!! :)
ahhh!!!
